I don't want to be premature but have now been on mtx and sulf for 8 weeks. The last few days things have improved a lot. I can now walk at a good pace rather than a snail's,
stiffness eases quicker in the mornng and I can manage stairs again!!! Hands have improved except when I spend too long on the computer.

Long may it lastBigGrin

Hi Maria,Great to hear the MTX is working for you.Smile I've been on it for 8 weeks but after the first four weeks I had to stop taking it for two weeks because I came out in a rash on my arms. The dose was cut by half and I've been back on on it with no probs as yet.Still taking Hydroxy though. Love Brenda.

Wionderful news, Maria. Mine started to kick in at about 8 weeks. Hopefully, you will find as I have done that this is your wonder drug.

Jean- hopefully yes.

Despite a very stressful week at work I've been fine.

I feel I'm getting my life back- today I was able to walk about with little discomfort. I'm thrilled and hopefully it will be the drug for me.

Hi Maria,

I took my 10th dose this week and so far so good had a few setbacks with feet and fingers but much improved, although i did say I would never say that again because the last time I said it it came back to haunt me. Fingers crossed for you. Anne x

That's good news, Maria, I expect you feel you're getting your life back. You may find that the longer you're on MTX, the better you'll feel.

Yes Lyn- I really do feel I'm getting my life back at last. So much that I did my usual thing of overdoing it on Saturday by going up to London-although this time I did accept when I was getting tired and came home rather than battling on as I usually do. Even though the sales were VERY tempting!
Thankfully I break up for the Summer holidays next week so 6 weeks rest should be great....provided I do rest of course Smile .
